We are so grateful for those who stepped in and supported the mission and vision of The Dresses and Dreams Project in 2021. We are a small and mighty 501c3 nonprofit organization that is 100% volunteer staffed and we depend on our communities to continue serving teens and women with hardships and difficult circumstances . Because of you, and with thanks to God, we were able to keep our doors open and hold Operation Grad Girl 2021, where approximately 75 girls were hosted and received prom and grad dresses, implement the new Dresses For Heroes program where 700 formal gowns were donated to Camp Pendleton and Operation Deploy Your Dress, and feature our Gamechanger Series- real talk and resources on real life matters affecting our youth and culture. Thank you again to our supporters. We pray we will continue building relationships and help significantly change lives in our communities again in 2021, through the power of a dress. The Dresses and Dreams Project is 501 (c)3 non-profit organization to inspire vulnerable teen girls and women to love and value themselves. We provide resources, referrals and empowerment through workshops, classes, mentoring and community collaboration to girls and women year- round at a mind, body, and spirit level, with a special emphasis on self-love, healthy relationships, and integrity. We hold an annual event called Operation Prom Girl where we have provided over 1200 prom dresses to high school girls and assisted with military balls and events for special learners. We also donate dresses to all women who have a need. Our mission is to empower women through the magic of a beautiful dress, and inspire them to live to their full potential and purpose.
