Operation Prom Girl Is Rolling Into Town!

Our 8th Annual Operation Prom Girl event is happening again this year in the Inland Empire, Riverside County area of Southern California. This year’s theme is “ Dignified” . More than just a dress, this is a full day for teens only and features a luncheon. sweet treats, fashion show, and powerful speakers that bring hope and encouragement. We have resources onsite to help with college or career education, as well as support and advocacy for issues like human trafficking awareness, domestic violence, healthy relationships, teen pregnancy and addiction and suicide prevention. The highlight of the event is our free prom dresses, accessories, prizes, and each girl leaves with a swag bag full of goodies. This event is free to any girl experiencing a hardship or challenging circumstance and it is our goal to assist these girls with finding their purpose, knowing their value and dignity, and living life to their full potential. The Dresses and Dreams Project is 501 (c)3 non-profit organization to inspire vulnerable teen girls and women to love and value themselves. We provide resources, referrals and empowerment through workshops, classes, mentoring and community collaboration to girls and women year- round at a mind, body, and spirit level, with a special emphasis on self-love, healthy relationships, and integrity. We hold an annual event called Operation Prom Girl where we have provided over 1200 prom dresses to high school girls and assisted with military balls and events for special learners. We also donate dresses to all women who have a need. Our mission is to empower women through the magic of a beautiful dress, and inspire them to live to their full potential and purpose.
