Oftentimes the question “why am I here” comes up if a person had one question they could ask God. This free speaker event, for ages 14 and up, will allow individuals seeking a connection with God or those desiring more fellowship a refreshment and an opportunity to learn about Him and in the process learn how to love who He created them to be: a dignified woman that is loved, seen, and valued- worthy of honor and respect. It offers first steps or a refresher journey to the heart of God for those who are curious or would like to establish or enrich their relationship with the Savior. This class will also touch on their precious value and uniqueness, finding purpose, and ends with a crown making activity and a certificate. This free gathering is for all ages, 14 and up, so mark your calendars for September 23 from 10 am-12:30pm!
The Dresses and Dreams Project is 501 (c)3 non-profit organization to inspire vulnerable teen girls and women to love and value themselves. We provide resources, referrals and empowerment through workshops, classes, mentoring and community collaboration to girls and women year- round at a mind, body, and spirit level, with a special emphasis on self-love, healthy relationships, and integrity. We hold an annual event called Operation Prom Girl where we have provided over 1200 prom dresses to high school girls and assisted with military balls and events for special learners. We also donate dresses to all women who have a need. Our mission is to empower women through the magic of a beautiful dress, and inspire them to live to their full potential and purpose.
